Mateials
-
All our projects are made out of the same top-quality hardwood, moisture-resitant hardwood-veneered panels, and cabient-grade birch-plywood.
WHY: We've been making high end woodwork for almost 20 years and so we've seen what lasts and what doesn't. We know that the curated selection of materials we use in our kitchen priojects will stand the test of time.
Lacquer finish
-
Our woodwork is finished in industry leading, non-yellowing, super-hard-wearing lacquer, applied in our own spray room.
WHY? We changed our finishing processes a number of years back due to yellowing of some lacquers due to UV exposure (natural light). This lead us to the Acrylic-based PU lacquer we now use for all our work. Not only does it resist yellowing, it;s also much more moisture restiant, and much more durable. A win all round.
Ironmongery
-
We use Blum softclose ironmongery for all our cabinet doors and drawer runners .
WHY? We've tried all the big brands (and a lot of more niche suppliers) and Blum is the only ironmongery we've used that does not require regular adjustment. It's the best, and that's why we use it for all our projects.

Drawer boxes
-
We have developed our own way of making drawer boxes and divided linings, and every one is made in our own workshop from cabinet-grade birch ply and solid walnut plugs.
WHY? Partly quality, partly to allow for customisation, and partly becasue they look better. Making our own drawers means we can guarentee quality, it allows us to be able to make drawers in whichever size is best for that particular project, and we can create bespoke drawer linings for specific needs. We can also make our famous integreated bin drawers to match the rest of the kitchen cabinetry (genuinely one of the things about our kitchens)
