Folded Record Bureau

The original........
The Folded Record Bureau, with its iconic good-looks, innovative record storage and, most importantly, the magic trick of the integrated record player, is a future design classic. Created for the music and design lover, the piece is equally at home in a private study as it is at the centre of a party. The Folded Record Bureau gives permission to slow down, pull up an easy chair, and bathe in the unique, communal, analogue experience of pips and pops that make vinyl so special. And this is all brought together in a statement piece of design that would elevate even the most stylish, discerning, modernist interior.
A band of folded natural timber is used to make this low bureau. The timber intertwines and punches through itself to make an angled shelf for record storage, and the upturned end provides a space for your favourite audiophile magazine. Set into the top is a vinyl turntable, with it’s controls seamlessly integrated into the table surface.

The Folded Record Bureau was designed by brothers Hugh Miller and Howard Miller, the creative founders behind emerging design and making studio H. Miller Bros. Specialising in high-end interiors in wood, from unique furniture and kitchens, to architectural woodwork and whole-house refurbishments, H. Miller Bros. is the amalgamation of Hugh and Howard’s individual passions of furniture and architecture respectively.
H. Miller Bros’ distinguishing features are their genuinely original design work; their use of unusual materials and innovative detailing; and that they maintain quality control over all aspects of their projects by designing, making and delivering in-house.
